Its medicinal properties were used by the ancient Romans. Hildegard von Bingen, a famous abbess and herbalist, recommended it especially for digestive issues. The plant can be used both externally and internally. Today, it is most commonly used for wound healing, sprains, and alleviating severe menstrual issues<\/strong>. Calendula ointment<\/strong>, used for treatment or in cosmetics, can be easily made at home. It is not always possible to find dried parts of the plant. Therefore, it is worth planting it.
