5 reasons why white flour is harmful

Today, most diets are based on white flour, sugars, salts, and dairy products. Many of us are not even aware of what excessive consumption of such foods does to ourselves and our bodies. White flour is particularly insidious as it causes many diseases, and in this text, I will try to list five main reasons why you should reduce the intake of this food into your body.
White flour promotes obesity and blood sugar problems.
The more refined foods a person eats, the more insulin needs to be produced for the body to handle that food. Insulin promotes fat storage, which causes rapid weight gain and increases triglyceride levels in the blood, which can lead to heart diseases. Over time, the pancreas becomes so overloaded that insulin production stops, leading to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels) or diabetes. In any case, the body then gets little or no energy from the food we eat and tries to convert muscles and fats into energy. Also, the constant intake of refined flour/sugar creates continuous pressure on the adrenal glands to produce balancing hormones, which eventually weakens them so much that they no longer fulfill (or struggle to fulfill) their role as an emergency system for which they were originally created.
White flour creates digestive problems.
White flour is called “intestinal glue.” It is known that flour and water successfully make glue. In today’s world, so much food is made from these two basic components: breakfast foods, snacks, pasta, bread, cereals… And it all turns into glue in our intestines! This is fiberless food that clogs our system, slows down digestion, and creates a sluggish metabolism, and it can often cause headaches and migraines.
White flour can trigger various allergies.
Eating a lot of white flour can eventually trigger various allergies… why? Firstly, white flour is obtained from hybrid seeds, grown with the help of chemicals, stripped of nutrients and fibers, and finally bleached. Allergies are most often not immediately recognized, but food allergies can cause and do cause many types of symptoms, from sinusitis to psychosis, from asthma to arthritis, from hyperactivity to depression, insomnia to narcolepsy – and notably, symptoms usually do not manifest immediately after eating. The most common allergic reactions are so low in intensity that they are almost unnoticeable and do not cause significant disturbance for years. When the disorder is finally noticed, it is difficult to link it to some food (in this case, white flour) that we have been consuming for years.
White flour can cause inflammation and chronic diseases.
Excessive consumption of refined carbohydrates such as sugar and white flour is a deadly poison and affects the inflammatory processes in the body. Sugar and white flour raise blood sugar, and even a slight increase in blood sugar levels results in the production of chemicals that promote inflammation. Most people consume these poisons daily in the form of bread, pasta, breakfast cereals, cookies, cakes, soft drinks, candies… Many diseases that we attribute to aging are actually caused by this process that takes place in our body. Depending on the person, the result can be arthritis, heart diseases, cataracts, memory loss, wrinkled skin, diabetes, etc.
White flour is acidic!
Acidity is another problem – most people have an acidic diet based on excessive intake of salt, sugar, white flour, dairy products, meat, and carbonated drinks. Many experts believe that excessive body acidity is one of the main causes of chronic inflammation and the main cause of arthritis and other chronic diseases. If we introduced more fruits and vegetables (especially in their fresh, raw form) into our diet instead of the aforementioned foods, we would maintain a better alkaline balance and enjoy better health and vitality.
