Nutrition against breast cancer
10. 10. 2012
here are recommendations on what foods should and should not be consumed when affected by this serious illness. Here are some useful and universal tips:
- Whether you are premenopausal or postmenopausal, eat fatty fish and legumes, including soy (although there are divided opinions about soy, as many believe that non-genetically modified soy no longer exists). These foods can help prevent the occurrence and growth of breast cancer.
- Limit alcohol intake to a maximum of one drink per day.
- Eat foods that counteract the carcinogenic effects of estrogen. These include soy, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts), and wheat bran flakes.
- Additionally, consume a variety of green vegetables, which seem to prevent breast cancer.
- Eat more like Japanese women, or at least as they used to eat before World War II. The traditional daily diet of a Japanese woman includes: about 230g of fruit, 255g of vegetables, 85g of soy products (mainly tofu), 100g of fish, and very small amounts of meat, milk, and alcohol.
- To prevent breast cancer or curb its growth if you already have it, consume omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish and omega-9 monounsaturated fats found in olive oil. Limit the intake of saturated animal fats and omega-6 fatty acids, which are most abundant in corn oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, and margarine made from these oils.
Additionally, regardless of diet, I recommend bioenergy treatments to boost the immune system. Bioenergy has a beneficial effect and supports all processes in the fight against disease.
